Why Hire Les

April 2025 // Letter of Recommendation

Well Leslie never really left specialized, I just wasn’t able to give her more days. Then I moved to Michigan to have a baby and open my own shop. Most memorable quality as a coworker, as strange as it sounds. First thing that comes to mind is compassion. She payed attention to others needs. She’s got great work ethic, always looking to keep busy, and learn how to be self sufficient. She has always been a sponge for knowledge. As far as conflicts, I don’t think she really has any , cause she’s so accommodating, if she were to have a situation she’s calm respectful and polite. I’ve seen her politely disagree, but understands where someone is coming from. Her customer interactions are immaculate. She is a great listener and delivers her response based on a persons pace in conversation. I regret not being able to hire her at my own store here. She is a great example of how much better a female bike employee learns faster than a male. I think people like Leslie are what make Rapha different than every other bike business. I hope my answers help you. Enjoy more bikes!
